Founder Ayyah, had implemented certain innovative ideas such as Honesty Shop, Conducting Exams without invigilators, Self-Research Diary in the Gandhi Centenary Year, 1968. Selvi. Muthiah after visiting 22 schools in U.S.A., introduced Three-tier system in classes which paved the way to give special attention to the slow-learners. The activities in the school throughout the year were brought out in the school magazine ‘Kalangarai Vilaku’ every year.
